It's so good to be back blogging my most favorite Etsy finds! 

Today's edition of Etsy Finds Friday has a little bit of a theme... you see, after giving birth 7 weeks ago, I'm left with a closet half full of clothes that are too small, and the other half is maternity wear... neither option is working for me lately, so, what's a girl to do? 

Shop? Oh, okay...

Cute!  Roomy!  Light - which is a plus during what the news keeps calling "the Hottest Summer ever in the History of Summer"...  oh, and it has pockets - I do love when a dress has pockets!

Next up, check out Picnic Skirt by Favorite Style...

I love picnics and skirts! This skirt looks especially forgiving of my 'in between baby and normal body' - nice and roomy around the thigh area, good length, I like the little tie around the smallest part of the waist - Stacy and Clinton would be proud!

...and finally today, check out Little Hootie Head Locket by Ruby Ann Bertram-Harker...

 

OMG - I am so totally in love with this locket!  The best part about jewelry?  It doesn't matter what size your butt happens to be at the moment... a necklace will always fit!

Friday Friday!  It's gonna be 95 degrees today, I'm 4 days away from my due date (which apparently is some sort of approximation), and I'm fresh out of ways to prepare for the little one, leaving me with not much to do but sit and wait... not a fan...

So, today's edition of Etsy Finds Friday is all about things for the baby that I'm pretty sure has decided to never ever come out of my body... le sigh...

These are so cute!  I love the colors and patterns used, the fact that the sharp corners have been sanded down, and they come in a cute carry bag - so you won't lose some or all of them!

Where to begin on how awesome this kitty is... let's see... love the way she did his eyes and lids, love the colors used, love the way she used the pattern of the fabric as the face and body of the kitty... all around love this little guy!  I think my little guy would love it too...

...and finally today, check out Organic Linen Baby Pants by Green Thread Shop...

It dawned on me a few weeks ago, in preparation for the event that somebody (the baby) has decided is never going to happen (the birthing), that for all the cute onesies and little shirts I have collected, I had not one pair of baby pants. 

The Hubs came home from work one day to me being quite distraught that my child had no pants.  Yes, he's a baby, he doesn't really need pants... but what if he wants to wear a pair or two occasionally?  Well, these baby pants certainly fit the bill! I love the birdies printed on them, the fact that they're nice and light - made of linen - perfect for 100+ degree summers in Austin!

Happy Friday - maybe soon Mr. Baby Pants will change his mind and come on out...

I like this candy dish for so many reasons! One, it's cute. Two, I love the pattern on the tea cup. Three, it's a tea cup attached to a vintage wood candlestick. Such a conversation starter!

So beautiful! Love the hand embroidered leaves, the natural base fabric, the handmade handle (yes, handmade) - such a work of art!

I love how simple these teething toys are - just wood carved beautifully into shapes, sanded and ready to be chewed upon. Plus, the hole in the middle makes it easy for little hands to get a good grasp!

Friday Friday! It's going to be 95+ degrees today here in the ATX... think I'll stay inside with my trusty fan... lucky for me, the interweb is climate controlled, so, Etsy Finds are always cool and comfortable!

Let's get to the finding!

First up, check out Painted Record Clock by Studio K...

Having worked in record stores for most of my adult life, I've seen my fair share of records made into things like clocks, bowls, coasters, etc. But I love the idea of using the record as a canvas for a painting and then turning it into something useful! The design here is pretty darn awesome too - I'm so in love with these yellows lately...

Okay, so, it makes sense that crafty people would know how to make salt and pepper mills... but I guess I never really thought about it - they seem like the type of item that only appears in stores... guess I was wrong. These are so amazingly beautiful - I would almost hate to mess them up by putting peppercorns and salt into them.

A little Noelle fun fact for you - I hate bees, wasps, or any type of stingy insect. I'm extremely scared of them and if you want to see me freak out and run away flapping my arms while screaming at the top of my lungs, just point me in the direction of a bee or wasp.

With that said, I simply love items with bees or wasps on them - towels, necklaces, or this awesome vintage planter! How cute would this look on our deck outside? So cute, that's how cute!

I've been looking at getting a sling for a while now, but wasn't sure what type I wanted. A couple friends of mine have handed down a few different types of carriers, which are still in the mix, but I decided the other day that I wanted a handmade sling from Etsy.

Viola! I love the fabric used on this sling and it looks pretty comfy for baby too. It's on its way to me right now, so, I'll be sure to let you know how it works out!

I never am ever happy with the selection of book ends that exists when I'm looking for them on-line or in shops... they're always so... 'just business' and not so much in the pretty-to-look-at department... I'm swooning over these, however... I love that they look like little pillows for your books... and the colors... mmmm... and the three-dimensional grass blades... love love love!

I've been on the fence about getting a mobile for the baby's room. This particular mobile I'm quite fond of - I love that it's owls, love the blues, and it's not too big. If we do end up getting one, this one will most definitely be on my short list.

This print is so incredibly awesome, it makes my heart race and my head light every time I look at it... and there's so much to look at! It's part of a limited edition set of 50, and I want one so bad it makes my teeth hurt...
