2006 was a darn crazy year...
Dr. Bologna ate all of these ponytail holders over the course of several years... got very very sick... and had to have emergency surgery to have them removed...
He's fine now.
The saying "only brush the ones you want to keep" is completely true. Believe it!
Inbetween having the teeth removed and the bridge installed... we decided to make a little lemonade out of the situation and have some photos done...
We both got tattoos... it's the Daruma - Japanese wish doll...
Hers...
His...
Trading Spaces???
Unbelievably... we were chosen along with our friends Megan and John to be on my favorite show - Trading Spaces...
We met some of the coolest, hard-working, and all-around awesome people ever.
Here's pics of our finished Trading Spaces bedroom...
We still love the room so much.
And as for the experience, it's rated Top 3 - just under getting married and going to Japan...
We went to Vegas...
With some friends...
For a friends' wedding...
Had a Trading Spaces viewing party when our episode aired... we even made everybody watch it again at 11pm...
Went to New York City to visit our friend Roger...
Aubrey was there too...
... and so was Roi...
We had much fun and I got to meet Clinton Kelly on my birthday... he liked my skirt... that I made...
Bought a new car...
Shot a gun...
Started a business...
Went to see my Dad and his wife in Asheville, NC... this is us at the Biltmore Estate...
This is my Dad's crazy lawn-mower... I think the man has gone insane in North Carolina...
It's the official commercial lawn care equipment of Nascar... not even making that up either...
Had a nice quiet Christmas at home...
... and now it's New Year's Eve already!
For 2006, my New Year's Resolution was to take more pictures. I definitely did just that and will continue to do so.
For 2007, my resolutions are to eat more mint, finally learn how to use my silk-screening machine, make tons of cute new stuff for my store, fix up the backyard (and the front one for that matter), and to not forget to take pictures of all of it!
I wish you and yours a very happy New Year! Here's to 2007... wonder which TV show I'll get to be on this year???
