Slippers are good

... just got these new slippers this past weekend and I think I'm in love.

I'm a bit of a slipper junkie - always need a good new pair and am quick to replace them when a cat rips one up or I spill something on them.

First thing I do when I get home is change out of whatever shoes I have on into these new beauties.

In other news...


...made this curtain for the sewing room and I'm not very fond of it.

I mean, I like the design idea that I was going for, it's just that it doesn't fit the window exactly - partly because I can't seem to cut a straight line, but also becuase the fabric is stretchy... cats seem to be ok with it, although I do wish I had made it a roman shade.

Oh well, IKEA opens in 5 days... they'll be able to help me out of this predicament...

Here's something I made this week that I do like...

It's a skirt for my friend Megan. She picked the fabric - yummy Etsuko Balance from ye ol' Reprodepot...
