So, I just started teaching myself how to knit.
It's a little slow going.
I'm having some trouble with the basic garter stitch - which doesn't bode well for me ever turning the page to the Purl stitch.
It's just that the knitting book that I purchased, while very informative, does not include hands on showing and telling - age old tricks that have been past down from generations before, that kind of stuff.
I think I need to kidnap somebody's Grandma for a day or two and make her help me.
I'll be nice.
She will be fed and watered and I'll even allow her to watch Judge Judy at 3 if she wants...
I have always wanted to learn to knit. Hows about I buy a different book, one that is reccomended by grandmas and we try together.
