The Hubs came home one day five years ago and announced that he wanted to go to school to be a Dental Hygienist.
I thought that sounded good, he's always liked teeth, loves to clean things, the job pays well, and there's always people that need the service. Couple that with a 2 year program at the Community College, and it sounded super easy.
Turns out, the program is one of the hardest programs to get into ever in the history of programs. They only accept 18 students per year, their one criteria is your grades, and they have over 100 people apply each year.
So, you have to be the best of the best of the best with perfect grades. I never knew how unacceptable B's were... I thought that was a good grade... nope... it's all A's or nothing.
It's been a long, difficult, frustrating road, but I'm so very pleased to announce that after two previous attempts at getting into this crazy school, Mr. Canacorn finally did it!
Congrats, dear Husband! I knew you could do it and I'm so glad that you never gave up on your dream!
